Royal Wedding Bells

Ohhhhhh I miss the buzz around the Royal Wedding!!!!! The wedding bells are still ringing in my ears! All the dresses and all the drama and all the Pimms consumed around the country on that day are distant memories!

I still can't get over "the dress" gorrrrrrrrgeous lace, and I'm now wondering where I can buy a dress that makes me look that skinny... oh wait. Never mind. How they kept it secret all that time is beyond me! Kate looked like Grace Kelly (who seems to be undeniably inspiration for the gorgeous dress). Sorry. I'm going to have to put a picture of it I cant resist.

Oooooooooooh the lace! If only we could all look so glamorous on our wedding days! I have a love hate situation with this dress now, love the dress, hate that its not mine. Sob. *gets out sewing machine*, Kate looked gorgeous in it but there were claims it was a copycat dress as Isabella Orsini wore a very similar one for her wedding.I may be bias but Kate pulled off the look better!

I think there should also be a mention for Kate's evening dress, which was equally stunning, and a more acheivable look for us non-royals! Although as I sit here eating my Ben and Jerrys I wonder where her waist actually went on her wedding day. Dukan diet here I come!

Must say I'm rather excited to see all of the shop bought imitation dresses trawling up and down the aisles of Britain over the next few years. It will, I feel be a barrell of laughs, and although we all would like to look this gorgeous on our wedding days all I will say on the matter is leave it to the professionals all you copycats out there! And if you are going to make a feeble attempt at looking anything like the above pictures I can only suggest

  • Millions of £s
  • The Dukan Diet + a skinny minny waist
  • A prince
  • A "cost the earth" tiara borrowed from HRH
  • A hand made dress designed personally for you
And unless you have all of the above, please don't bother trying!
